"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

Family Pics

While Dallen and Jamie were here visiting, we had family pictures, of course!

What a good lookin' family we are!

On another note, I am officially calling myself a biker chick. Corey has a motorcycle (Suzuki Boulevard C50T to be exact). It is his other love and was used many times while Dallen was visiting. Corey got it at the beginning of last summer, not long after Nathan was born. So I never really rode it much because I had struggles with leaving Nathan and then being back in time to feed him. Well, now that all that is finally over, I went on my first bike ride last night. We went through Sardine canyon onto Hwy 38 to go to Crystal Hot Springs. We stayed there for a little bit, went down the slide a couple of times, soaked in the tubs, which felt mucho good-o, then came back home through the Tremonton area to make a kind of circle. I was decked out in my leather jacket, gloves, and helmet. I used to say that I was OK with riding but didn't like it as much as Corey. I probably still don't like as much as Corey, but it was way fun and I can't wait to go again!!!

Sorry. I have no pictures to prove that this ride actually happened. Please just take my word for it and some day I will post a picture to show the world who I really am at heart. A biker babe.

Feet

If you've never had a pedicure, it's about time you treated yourself!! I think they are totally worth it! Maybe not if you do one every week, or every other week, but you've gotta get one!! Corey's brother, Dallen, his wife, Jamie, and their almost-3-year-old, Devin, came to visit from Arkansas. The last time we saw them was last year when they came out to visit, and we always look forward to seeing them. We are making pedicures our "girl-tradition".

Starting with the purple toes and going counter-clockwise... Natalie, Jamie, Hilari, Kierstin, me, and my niece, Jaiden, who just got her toes painted.
