"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."
~President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Almost a Second Lieutenant

I'm so proud of my great husband. This semester has been a killer. 21 credits (only 18 in the last couple of weeks because of some USU angels. Who knew they even existed?). ROTC Staff. Papers galore. Helping me at home and with the motel. Doing his primary teacher calling. Also doing his cub scout calling. Getting up at 4:45 to leave for school at 5:15. Staying on campus until 5:00 to come home and eat dinner with his family and play with Nathan, who loves his dad. Like I said, a killer. But it's almost over and then it will never be this hard again (or so we think).

Here's to GRADUATION!!!!

Sneak Peak

So I've been a blog slacker. Which is odd. But take a look at some of these pictures my sis-in-law took. Don't mind the runny nose. They haven't been fully edited yet. The final picks should be posted soon. I'm working on a wall project for a big empty wall in the kitchen.

Second, we reached NO VACANCY last night at exactly 8:50 pm. It was amazing. I would like to thank the water polo tournament at Bear River High School as well as the snowy weather which travelers hate driving in for this special night in my life.

This is our computer screen to make the reservations. Each column is a day. The first four columns are past days. Then there's last night. Completely full. Then the rest of the week, almost completely empty.

We have turned the no vacancy on before of course on our nights off and when we really just need some sleep, but never when we really were completely full. It was amazing.
