Ok. Mark your calendars. Ok, so you probably won't. But, I will. Why? That's the day we find out if we are having a boy or a girl.
Corey is dying for a daughter. He wants a girl so bad. He's already said, "If it's a girl, she's already got me wrapped around her finger." Nathan has finally started to acknowledge the question "Do you want a baby sister or a baby brother?" This is big progress, but he has said a baby sister twice. Me? I just want a baby. A healthy one. And have for awhile. So I'm just happy to be where I am. No joke. If we have a boy, Nathan will have so much fun playing with a little brother. And I really wouldn't need to buy very much 'stuff'. If we have a girl, I will finally get to play dress up with lace and bows and dolls and pink. And open boxes of all of my old dresses. That will be fun.
So what do you think?

So far...
We haven't done anything worth blogging about these days. Why, you ask? Because of the little being growing inside of me. I'm either tired or sick just about everyday. And on the few days in between that I feel ok, I'm doing the laundry load that I'm completely out of or finally emptying/loading the dishwasher. I'm doing good just to make dinner. I'm probably just a baby about it because it's not like I live at the toilet and can't do anything. But, I just don't feel right. Poor Corey. He's so patient. I'm often ornery and picky and lazy. Nathan and I haven't even done school time for at least a month. Which is dumb because I just totally skipped over Halloween and pumpkins and all that fun stuff.
BUT, here's to the second trimester! The last few days have been pretty good, so hopefully I'm finally getting to the up and up of this journey.
So that's my boring life. How's yours?

Halloween finally
These were the only pictures I got out of Halloween this year...
Holmgren Halloween Party. We did have a lot of fun. It was fun all dressing up.
Everybody.
Our family.
The table scape.
My version of a festive salad. I couldn't just make whatever and call it a 'Halloweenie' name. I had to think of something that LOOKED like Halloween. It was a little bit of work to carve all these salad bowls out of oranges. But, Corey obliged and helped me. It was topped with roasted pumpkin seeds! Yum!
