"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

Progress

For 2 whole days now, in a row, I have done a personal study AND worked out in the MORNING. I'm feeling really good about this. Corey and I still do our reading together at night, but now a personal study in the morning. 2 days now in a row! Corey's been waking up early for a couple of weeks to study before Army PT, but I'm just getting started in doing both. I feel like this is already becoming a habit.

I'm making progress.

I've been doing the P90X workout program and am in the middle (technically towards the end, I guess) of week 3. This is the third time I have started this program and have never even made it past week 1.

I'm making progress.

Furthermore, I have indeed lost some weight already. Only a few pounds, but consistent with losing 1-2 pounds a week. My clothes still feel the same, and I can't really tell a difference in how I look yet, but I feel great! Well, except for some part of my body aching from various workouts.

I love the feeling of making progress. It makes me want to keep going to see what comes next!

**This isn't a super exciting post, and most probably don't even care, but I thought I'd share anyway because this is what's going on with me. What's going on with you?

I've acctually been thinking a lot about trying P90X but I wasn't sure. What do you think about it? Do you like it? Good job on the progress, I always am impressed by you!

I've never heard of that workout before. Is it something you can find online? Way to go on working out though! I like to use excercisetv.tv at times like this when the weather is so cold. They have full length workouts for free. It's awesome.

It is funny- I had never heard of P90X until yesterday and now 2 of my friends have blogged about it. You'll have to tell me more about it sometime. It sounded intense.

Now, when you say "early" how early are you talking? If your hubby is waking up before PT he must be getting up at like 3:00 a.m.! Crazy! I'm so proud of your progress! Way to be an example for all of us! I've also been trying the early morning thing, but it comes in spurts right now! Keep it up!

So fun to catch up with you. I don't think I could sit on a motorcycle for that long. Good for you. The hair for me is way too long, but that's because I like short hair on boys. WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT!!! If I exercise I think that I can eat whatever I want. It doesn't work. Oh well though. I love the pictures. So cute.

Good job Mindi! I started P90x this week. I CAN'T stand the guy! I think he is so annoying. The workouts are great though. I've been stiff for 2 days. I've also realized that I have the weakest arm muscles! How do you do the pull ups. I know you said you use the band, but what do you hook it too? Also, no I haven't thought of anything for the Halloween party yet. Am I suppose to be? I thought Kathy was doing it. Am I suppose to be thinking of games or like food?
