Baby Progress
38 Week appointment was today. I'm dilated to a 3 and 60% effaced. Measuring at 39 weeks. No contractions yet. They did another ultrasound to check my fluid. Fluid is measuring at 23, which is really, really high normal or really low abnormal/too high. They also measured the baby again and according to the ultrasound machine she's 8 lbs 1 oz. So big baby and lots of fluid explains my huge-mongo belly. Hopefully baby decides to come in the next couple of days. Doc will be gone Sun, Mon, and Tues so if not in the next few days, then hopefully she waits until Wednesday. Doc was out of town for Nathan's birth as well and I'd really like him to deliver this one. He's the one I've talked to about everything this whole time and knows what's going on. So, send some good vibes my way and maybe your good thoughts will convince little Nora to join us.
