"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

Corey told me this today when he came home from school. Every Thursday in front of the Logan Tabernacle, there are picketers that are holding up signs pretty much just saying how they are against the war. In Corey's ROTC class today, his teacher, Major Bruce, told them that he really wants to join them, take his whole family with him, and hold up a sign that says, "Thank you, President Bush and the US troops, for 7 years with no terrorist attacks." So, today I ditto that and add to it that I am so proud to say that my husband is an American soldier.

Nice post. My brother is in the army too and I'm so grateful for their dedication and sacrifice as well as the families that stand behind them.

We agree! Thanks for serving our country, we are very grateful for your service! We should go hold up some signs like yours over by the Capitol Building. :)

Zann actually worked with the girl that started that, it's sad to say. I wish people would realize the good that the soldiers are doing. I am grateful for people like your husband.

Your little boy is so stinking cute. I hope school, work, and everything else is going well for you guys.
