"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."
~President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

2010

2010 Thus Far...

1. I turned 24, no wait 23, no I was right. 24. And Daddy and Nathan gave me these.

2. We threatened to take someone to court if they didn't pay the motel the charges they owed by 'x' date at 'x' time.
3. Above mentioned has still not come in and I must do something I really don't want to do. I'm just going to see what the process is before I really decide.
4. I gave out a Book of Mormon for the first time since high school.
5. It is suspected that said Book of Mormon receiver stole numerous items from the motel when he checked out the next morning.
6. Check out this snow pile at the motel. Corey is standing on top and Jon is in the tractor.

6. I started wearing weighted gloves when I do my TurboKick/TurboSport class at the gym. Good results have followed.
7. I wore my new workout/running shoes for the first time and am extremely excited to wear such beauties on my feet.
8. Corey the Hair Ball was the beastliest man I have ever been married to. And I received the greatest birthday present of all...he shaved it all off. Just for me. I told him it would be the best birthday gift ever and he said, "Ok." See the various stages below.

Now I can finally kiss the very smooth face I fell in love with.

One last thing, I'm really excited for school to start on Monday, and Corey to go back to school on Monday, so that I can get back to this...

Mindi! It's been too long. We miss you guys. Sounds like things at the motel are as fun as ever. By the way, how much does the person owe you who you told you'd take them to court? I worked at a law firm, and can guess how much you would spend in legal fees to actually take them there. If you were going to take them to court on your own, I could also direct you to all the filing fees for the various paperwork you would have to file with the court.

Be honest, can you really stick with a schedule like that? Obviously I'm just getting to know you. :)

by the way - TOTALLY enjoying the blog!
