"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

Battle Wounds

Look at Corey's right elbow. Yeah, gross. He got it playing church basketball. The ward they were playing is kind of physical and he got pushed to the ground, falling on his elbow. We went to the doctor and it's just swollen (I can't remember the actual name) and it could take a month for it to go down. We are going back in a week to see if they can do a procedure where they puncture the bulge to let out the liquid or blood or whatever it is. Church basketball.

Look at Nathan's top lip. If you look close, he totally has a fat lip. He likes to hold something in each hand while he crawls sometimes and then when he gets to the kitchen floor, his hands slip out right from under him. He face planted on the kitchen floor this morning which resulted a bloody lip and wanted Mom to hold him.

Man, what a day.

Oh no! You should really tell Corey to stop beating up on the other boys...it might make the Army look bad. ;)

Too bad about Nathan! Then again, kids are pretty tough and he'll get over it quick. It still tugs at a mom's heart though!
