Total cost was about 35 bucks felt is way cheap the snaps, magnents, eyelets, and binder rings cost the most. Time was the main contribution but it was a labor of love and I hope she will love it. I got most of my ideas off the internet after googling quiet books, lots of cute things out there. I never could find anything I wanted to buy they were kinda boring and short so I think its worth making it but it is a bigger project than you would think. Im still waiting for pics of the basement can't wait to see them
