"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

Baby Update

**Don't mind my messy kitchen in the background.**

Here I am at 24 weeks tomorrow. Anyone else feel like I'm huge? Cuz I sure do. Seriously.

So I'm pretty sure we've come to a compromise/conclusion about our little girl's name. You may recall that I fully wanted Nora and Corey fully wanted Norah. Thank you for all those who voted on our poll and took my side. And you others, well, you can stop reading our blog. So just kidding. Really. Just kidding.

So here's the compromise. I kind of wanted Mae as the middle name and Corey really liked June. (No, we did not choose those names because they are months in the year or because she will probably be born in May.) I told Corey, "If you let me have Nora without an 'h', you can have June be the middle name." He immediately said, "Done."

So there you have it, folks. Nora June. Norr is Corey's dad's middle name, which was his mom's (Corey's grandma) maiden name. That's where Nora came from. The same grandma's first name was June. So Corey's grandma was June Norr and our little girl will be Nora June. Kind of cute. I like it. I still feel a little weird calling her that, but it's getting better. It's kind of like admitting that there really is a little person in there, and that she's my daughter, and making it all real. Not just a growing belly that twitches every now and then with what feels like popcorn popping or something. I did have a dream last night about holding a newborn baby and was so excited that it was my baby girl. This morning I felt tons better about calling this thing that thinks I'm a punching bag Nora June.

Way to compromise. I love her name and I can't wait to meet little Miss Nora June! And I agree with Shellyce... you do not look big at all. (Although, I am not saying that you shouldn't feel huge. You have every right to feel that way. But just know that you really don't look big. You are just cute preggers!!)

I think you look really cute! And I love the name choices. I still kind of kick myself for not doing the middle name of June for one of our girls.
