"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

Gratitude Appreciation Month: Day 2

Today I am so grateful for these cute little buggers. This was this morning, watching Yo Gabba Gabba (which I can only stand a little because it makes me want to shoot myself in the head, but the kids love it). Still in jammies, laying on a pillow, blanket on, teddy in hand. They are so precious.

I am very privileged to call myself their mother. My Heavenly Father has blessed my life, first with Nathan, then his sister, Nora. They challenge me every day. Sometimes I want to pull my hair out. Sometimes I can't wait for bedtime. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed with love for them that I just want to cry. Sometimes all I want to do is read stories or dance around the living room with them.

I love you, little angels!
