"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

Gratitude day 5

Today I am thankful for my Nora. Let's be honest here though, she is a little bit of a challenge for me. Her drama and emotional outbursts try my patience. She can stubborn and super independent and then in the next breath want you to do everything for her.

But I will tell you what, you won't find a sweeter, more loving, more helpful 3 year old out there.

She brings laughter, patience, and kindness to our family. She is bright, creative, and artistic. I have grown into a better Mom because she has challenged me to do so. Her behavior has invited me to be more present, more patient, more loving in my relationships and when I finally gave in to that everybody began to improve.

We would be an unhappy family without our Miss Nora June!
